Ian. T. Davis. Weston-super-Mare, which is off junction 21 of the M5 motorway – hence ‘itdm5j21‘
From borrowing my Dad’s Practina 35mm SLR as a teenager to medium format(645) and developing my own films and processing them into prints in my darkroom; now onto digital with DSLR APS-C camera systems.
Fortunately, for me, I was there from the beginning when personal computers and free and open source software(FOSS) arrived. Thankfully this has allowed me to continue with my photography throughout thick & thin. [A reach out to the open source community here; many thanks for all the wonderous things you do]
I can be ‘found’ on ‘500px’, ‘flickr’ and also ‘photonet’ though couldn’t keep up my account on ‘fotki’ when it went to a subscription based model; I sincerely wish Fotki all the best and hope it can keep going.
Another thing: I’m eternally grateful for all those people that pass back into the photographic market excellent quality used photo gear that’s often like new and may even have had very low usage. Again, this has enabled me to persue my interest when I may otherwise not have been able to do so…
I wish you all good light.
